What documents are required for the transfer of the deceased to Ethiopia?

The following documents are required for the repatriation of the body to India.

  • ID card of the deceased and the Ethiopian identity card

  • Data (name and telephone number) of the recipient in Ethiopia, or the data of the accompanying person

All other documents such as birth certificate for single persons, marriage certificate for married persons, death certificate of the spouse for widowed persons, etc. are only required for the final death certificate, but can be conveniently submitted to the relevant registry office after the transfer of the deceased.

If documents are missing, a provisional death certificate will be issued by the registry office, which can be used to transfer the body to Ethiopia without any problems.

 

What does it cost to transfer a dead body to Ethiopia?

The complete cost of a body to Ethiopia varies and depends on the following factors.

What is the procedure?

  1. Fill out our order form and send it to us by email with the required documents and information.
