What documents are required for the repatriation of the deceased or ashes in the urn to Denmark?

The following documents are required for the repatriation of the body to India

  • ID card of the deceased and the Danish identity card

  • Data (name and telephone number) of the recipient in Denmark, or the data of the accompanying person

All other documents, e.g. birth certificate for unmarried persons, marriage certificate for married persons, death certificate of the spouse for widowed persons, etc., are only required for the final death certificate and can be conveniently submitted to the relevant registry office after the transfer of the deceased.

If documents are missing, a provisional death certificate is issued by the registry office, which can be used to transfer the body to Denmark without any problems.

 

How much does it cost to transport a body or urn to Denmark?

The total cost of transporting a body to Denmark varies and depends on the following factors.

What is the procedure?

  1. Fill out our order form and send it to us with the required documents and information by email.

  2. Wait until we have completed all the necessary documents and all other activities and we will get back to you.

  3. You will receive all important documents and information such as AWB consignment note, flight data, photos, etc.

  4. The deceased is duly delivered to the airport and handed over to the forwarding company
