What documents are required for the repatriation of the deceased to Belize?

The following documents are required for the repatriation of the body to Belize

  • ID of the deceased and the Australian identity card

  • Data (name and telephone number) of the recipient in Belize, or the data of the accompanying person

All other documents, e.g. birth certificate for single persons, marriage certificate for married persons, death certificate of the spouse for widowed persons, etc. are only required for the final death certificate and can be conveniently submitted to the relevant registry office after the transfer of the deceased.

If documents are missing, a provisional death certificate will be issued by the registry office, which can be used to transfer the body to Belize without any problems.

What is the procedure?

  1. Fill out our order form and send it to us with the required documents and information by email.
